Foot issues
So, I am about a year and half out of surgery and have been playing with the same few pounds for several months now. I do kickboxing 3-4x a week and have recently started adding walking to my regime. I did my first fitness walk last weekend. I could have walked longer but at about 2 miles, my club foot starts to pull to the side more -- and gave me a blister down the side of my foot. It heals quickly(already gone and you can't tell) but still annoys me.
I am signed up for several walks the rest of the year. A few 5Ks, a 5 miler, and in October a half marathon walk up at niagara falls.
My question: Any suggestions on keeping the blister away? It's always my right foot that tends to get blistery on the bottom and side of my foot. The left one is usually fine. I went to a running store and was fitted for my shoes so I know I am good there.
Any suggestions are welcome...

14 pounds lost before surgery. My first ticker is when I hit onderland: this was my goal when I started on this journey. I want to focus on that right now...once I get there I can reevaluate.
My second ticker is my dream goal. Even if I only visit there for a short time, it would be nice to see that number just once. I am pretty sure I'll need plastics to hit this goal.

I would get a silicon based foot powder, I use the Asics brand... They probably sale it at your running store. Also, what type of socks are you wearing? I would def look into getting some good, wicking running socks. That should help. Best of luck...

Dan beat me to it, I was going to suggest the same things.
The other thing you can look at is bodyglide. Lots of people run without socks at all and they just powder the shoe and bodyglide their feet.
Don't try anything new for your race, but you should certainly give some time experimenting now while you have time.
