Why is it I can't win the regular lotto, I ask you?  I only entered the lotto because I felt there wasa strong chance I wouldn't get picked! Ha!

So... in addition to my first half marathon I completed in January, and the hilly La Jolla 5k I completed Sunday, and the nice, flat half amrathon I'll be doing in Boston over memorial day weekend.... I will now be running in the Nike Women's half marathon in San Francisco in October!  Yay!

I am not so sure running is addicting as it is constant goal setting and reaching. Nonetheless, I LOVE IT! As a former fatty, I am now a happy member of the church of running!  Hooyah, Masterchief!  ;)

London is SUPER hard to get into. Something like a 1 in 10 chance or something like that. It's a fabulous race however.

My favorite - the Semi Marathon du Provence. It's a 10K / 1/2 marathon / Marathon course in the South of France in early october. Stunning course through vineyards and villages. And at the finish line? No medal but you get a bottle of wine instead. They also organize a pre and post race party - lots of lovely french food and wine. It's fabulous.

I also do the Vegas 1/2 marathon in December every year. Super fun in it's own way as you run the Vegas strip.
