Friday's Workout!!!
I took yesterday off and did 4.22 miles today. I'm supposed to do a group run (2-4 miles I think) in the morning and I'm registered for a 5k on Sunday. My legs felt better than they did on Wednesday, but yesterday was my off day...so I'm thinking maybe I should ditch the group run and go for a better time on Sunday..
"Running has the power to change your life. It will make you fitter, healthier, even happier." ~Selene Yeager, "Let's Get Started," May 2010 issue of Runner's World
Rest day today. Planning to increase my long run from 8.84 to 10.46. Maybe I will go for the whole 12.08, but I don't want to be paying for it!
Hope everyone had a great day!

Every morning in Africa , a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

definitely having some fatigue issues this week. not sure if it is overtraining or lack of nutrition or both.
did 30 minutes of weights (chest/tri) including sets of 45, 45, 30, and 30 for the 100 pushup challenge (don't like going backwards!)
ran outside this afternoon on a greenway close to the gym for 8.25 miles av pace 8:34 (total time of an hour and 10 minutes). definitly feeling it now, i have a much needed rest day tomorrow, hopefully i can recharge for Sunday's long ride/brick....
