A Small Rant...
I have NEVER had an allergy problem, but they are kicking my butt this year!!! So I decided to take my son to the track with me this evening for my speed work night. The plan was 2 mile warm-up, 8 x 800M @ goal 5K pace, then 1 mile cool down. As I started my warm-up I could see pollen and cotton-like bits flying through the air and making their way to my face! Eyes began to water, chest started hurting, throat was killing... I got through the 2 mile warm-up at 9 minute miles. I did 4 x 800M at an average time of 3:37, which is pretty good for this fool... I could'nt take it anymore, so I left, dropped my son at home and headed to the gym where I finished 4 miles with a tempo run at 7 MPH @ 1.5% incline. Then I swam a mile and I was absolutely wrecked. I feel completely ZAPPED of energy, which is odd for a not-so-huge workout. So... With that being said; ALLERGIES SUCK! I hope this passes soon.

I hope it was just a high pollen count in the air and you feel better soon.
I have never had allergy issues myself, but my wife gets them and she is miserable all spring/summer. It's like she has a constant cold during this time of year when everything starts blooming.
Feel better soon Dan,
Scott

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!
Yea it does suck. I love it when I'm just sitting on the couch and all of the sudden a bucket of water streams down my face. Nothing like a little tear duct action thanks to mother nature!
