Tuesday Workouts

Hey everybody! I was back on the treadmill this morning. I told y'all I was going to keep trying to jog, so I wanted to keep my promise! I was by myself in the cardio room when I did it Sunday, but this morning I wasn't. I almost let the "I'm too embarrassed" demon get the better of me, but I wanted to be able to come back here and say I did it. Soooo...I did it. This accountability thing really does work! I'm trying to do the couch to 5K schedule, but I think it's going to take me a little longer to build up to 60 seconds jogging, 90 seconds walking for 20 minutes. I have to have a little more time in between jogs. I only did one minute of jogging Sunday, and I did three minutes this morning, so that's progress, right? My 'in between" walking was faster, too, at 3.4. I usually walk at 3.1. To be honest, I feel like a lumbering hippo when I'm jogging, but I just pretended there was nobody else in there and did it anyway. After my 20 minutes on the treadmill, I did about 30 minutes in the weight room, so I feel like I got a really good workout in this morning.

How'd you do?

Way to go Jenny.  Take your time building up.  You have all the time you need.

I did a nice and easy 3.2 miles today in perfect weather!

 Jenny, Great Job!!!!

For me it was cardio day, I ran 2.2 miles today!!!!   I only walked for a total of 1 min..My mile time was 13:40 which is 30 seconds better than my last time...I did the treadmill for about 40 min today, after my run I walked at a 3.5% incline at 3.2 ( I was beat)...and then did some abs...I am now sitting here icing my knee and foot..LOL  But oh so happy!!!

 Awesome Jenny!

I did 5 .1 miles on the TM today at around an 11 minute pace.  Was supposed to do 6, but my leg is killing me since my long run sunday, plus I am getting a bad cold, so I decided discretion was the better part of valor.  Worked my shoulders and abs too.

Great Job Jenny!!

I'm doing some resistance training again (stuck at home with a very sick little girl) and I'll put in my running time this evening in the rain when my husband gets home.

W4,D1 of c25K.  Was nervous aobut it, but did it all.  The last minute of the second 5 minute run was challenging - winded!  But I got through and will work on it the rest of this week.  Strength training tomorrow.
