Boston Marathon started at 10. Who are you tracking? There are about 10 or so local people to me, that I know of  that are running, 3 that I am tracking. They are what I call local elites. Two guys and one of there wives. Their 5K splits are 17:37, 19:15 and 20:16. I wonder what it would be like to run that fast?

I'm watching the marathon live on TV and I'm just rooting for everyone.  I'm in awe like I've never been before - and I've been watching the marathon my whole life - it's just the first year I've been a runner!

I am at work so I can'****ch so I am tracking them. Jason Pyles' time at the half is 1:14:08. Robert Smith's time at the half is 1:19:56. He owns the local running shoe store. Marian Pyles half time is 1:27:18.

I never would have watched a marathon before, but since I ran one this past November I know what kind of work I had to do to finish in 4:21. I am amazed at their times.

I am already looking at this November to try to get under 4 hrs.

I watched it too. Universal sports is one of my favorite networks! I have a buddy who was 24th last year but I don't know if he ran it this year. Next year I plan on running the 5K which is on Sunday.

I just wish the coverage was better. It's nice watching the leaders but I want to see more americans and more coverage overall with back of the packers.

even the local coverage isn't great with the back of pack anymore.  we used to get coverage all day on all 3 big networks, now we get 1 network til 1pm.  sad.  Best coverage is to drag yourself out and watch it all live.  I just was lazy today - last day of vacation.

The 5K winning time was something like 14 minutes.  holy crap is all i can say!!
