I just got back from an intense 5 miles.  The last mile actually was not very intense but very enjoyable.  It was nice to slow down and look at the world a bit.

Anyway, how did you do today?
Scott

I finally got off my butt.  Walked my 3 mile route and tried a little running, but it still hurts.  I'll keep stretching.

Well, I took a week off from running since my knee started acting up in my marathon. I worked out every day though, I just did elliptical, crunches and weights. So today, I could not resist! I had to try to run. I got on the treadmill and I started at 5.0 today. 5 minutes in I was at 6.2. and that is where I stayed for the rest of the 30 minutes! 3 miles in 30 minutes is really good for me . So cool! I also did 500 crunches, and free weights to work on triceps. I'm thinking about doing a little tae bo when I get home. I am feeling like some boxing! lol

rowing warm up (2313 meters)
lifting (bench, assisted chin up, dead lift)
knee raises & knee raises with twists

I went to go run a quick mile or two afterwards but I was feeling pretty good so I did 3.4 instead...it was too nice out and I did a nice stretch in the big field by the dam...love days like this, wish I could do all my workouts mid-day!!

It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
