Lacking motivation and focus

Can't beat yourself up over an injury.  Need to rechannel that focus you had into something you can do now.  Pick up a hobby.  Walk...  Intensity may not be the same but the big thing is to try and find ways to stay positive.  Good opportunity to look inward and find yourself.  Negative energy is only great for weight gain and politicians.

I have always admired those positive energy people, but I seem to be a magnet for negative energy, or a creator of it.

It just seems to be what comes naturaly, I'm not an optamistic person by nature.  Every time something good happens, I'm just waiting for that hammer of negativity to fall and whack me.

No excuses, headed to the gym tonight.
I even had my wife help me get my gym clothes on under my work clothes.
I can't get my shir on and off by myself, can't raise that left arm up far enough.

So heading to the gym right after work.  I'll go grind out those walking treadmill miles.

good for you... keep your head up buddy, you'll get through this.  i was going to suggest hiking, it will get you outdoors in the fresh air, is fairly low impact, and with hills still a great workout.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.
