My second 8.84 mile run (no walking this time!)

Time: 1:36:17
Pace: 10:52
Mph avg: 5.51
Calorie Burn: 936

a bit stiff and wet (rain, or course) but nothing that some good stretches and a towel won't take care of!

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

I did about 4 miles this morning. It was a terribly hilly route with my group. I actually ran alone for most of it and I took a detour as they were doing 8 miles today and I have not done more than 6. I was pooped early on from the hills that were in the beginning of the route. I was kind of having a pity party during the  run; I was frustrated that everyone has surpassed me and it was raining.
I am in a better mood now and have a planned run in the morning with my hubby that will be 3 miles and a morning run on Tuesday before that work that will be at least 5. I just have to keep at it!

Got in 3.5 miles this evening.  Decided to not pu**** anymore than that since tomorrow morning is our long run.
