Thursday Workouts

Good morning! Did my 30 minutes of lap swimming this morning. Felt really weak for some reason, but pushed through and did all 30 minutes anyway. I had my protein drink before I went, so I don't know what was up with that!

 gearing up to start my personalized "Dan B."  marathon training plan !  ;)

3.1 miles, my fastest yet since surgery, albeit on a TM, in under 25 minutes.  Very intense chest and triceps workout.  Later I am going to play lumber jack and cut some wood and split it (with machines of course, so its not as intense as it sounds!)

45 minutes on eliptical with 5 min.cool down. I think I am starting to like morning workouts rather than after work.

3.1 miles in 27:55 and the jogged .9 , then did 40 minutes on tm at 25 deg incline 4mph. Lunch was 40 mins of weights - chest and back.
    No longer about weight , it's all about living.

Ran a decent 10K this a.m. I like to get at least one long run per week, even though I'm not training for anything yet...although am giving consideration to doing my first 1/2 marathon!???

Jenny,

Have you tried some carbs before a workout and protein after with a ratio of 4/1 on carbs vs protein? That seems to work well for some people. Good job on pushing through your workout.

The endorphins were flowing today.   Yesterday's session with the chiropractor produced some good results in today's workouts.

I got in a 30-minute bike ride at lunch without any knee pain.  After work, I hit the treadmill for 40 minutes and finished up with strength training.
