has anyone tried the "foot bug" pedometer and program with their ipod touch... wondering if it is worth the investment?

I have it and use it with my nano almost every time I run.  I like it - keeps track of distance, pace, your best times (mile, 5k, 10k) and charts all your runs for you online.  I think the worst part is trying to make sure I don't lose any of the pieces - the foot thing or the part that plugs into my ipod.  Probably the best $30 I've spent.  I'ved used it in the snow & rain (except for once) and never had any problems with it - just need to make sure it's on your shoe securely to get an accurate read and that you calibrate it (I recommend doing it at the track if possible).

I used the program with my ipod touch. I liked it, but after the first month or so it started dropping one in three or four runs. I just ended up frustrated with it. Now I just time myself and then map it online to get distance, pace etc.

I had one and it was okay, but I found it a bit flaky -- not always recording my runs. Now I have an expensive Garmin Forerunner that's a run computer, a bike computer, times my intervals, etc. I like having one device for everything.
