WELL HELL!

I'm sorry Scott. I know how disappointed you must be! Hang in there....there will be lots and lots and years and years of marathons for ya!

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in
Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

If it's not healing, not much else you can do.  Let thyself heal, and the rest will come.

Just FYI, I went nearly 1.5 years not running after a hamstring injury before training for my first marathon.  It takes a while to get it back, but it does come back.  I know you realize how important it is, and I also know how hard it is to be patient.  All you can do is your best, and if what it takes is leaving things be, then leave them be.  You'll want to be completely healed so you're impaired for the shortest time possible.

Still sending positive thoughts and energy your way and hoping for fast healing.

Hang in there Scott! Just give it time to heal because there will be a lot more races to participate in. Get yourself healed up for future races! Good luck!
