Just came in from a 4.5 km run... 1km walk and 3.5 km run. Am doing the C25K and this was W7D1 so a 25 min run with the 2 x 5 min walks to warm up & cooldown. Ran outside - was sunny and about 60 so was too nice to go to the gym.

I went running this morning...5.61 miles plus a .21 mile cool down for a total of 5.82 miles!

That's been my longest run before work yet!! I have seriously cut back my gym time now that I'm running again.  Probably the best part of shin splints was that I worked my butt off on the arc trainer & eliptical...but I seriously need to get back in there and cross train!!

Triple taxi duty tonight with the kids.  Fit in an easy 2-mile run.

I will be doing a 30 minute run tonight.
Without struggle, there is no progress.

Ran 1.5 miles and then walked at a 4% incline at a speed of 3.4 for the rest of the time, and then did some ab work...

30 minute / 7 mile Expresso ride with up grades from -6% to + 21%. ARGH!  About 20 seconds slower than my last two times on this virtual route.

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

30 minutes on the TM for me at .5% grade.  First 2 miles at 6.9 and finished at 7.0 and up,  Unfortunately the TM wouldn't keep up as I tried to increase the speed, so after a couple minutes, 7.0 was as fast as it would maintain.

I got up too late to make it to spin class this morning.  Good day to get back on my feet anyway.
