6 miles
Holy cow!!
I am so excited!!! I just ran 6 freaking miles( maybe a bit over). I had a long day today, son had his tonsils out and I was just tired from all that. I did some p90x about 4 and then the plan was just to do the bare miles on my training run. 3 miles, that was all. For some odd reason I was in a cool place and just kept going . I made to 3 miles out and the turned around to come the 3 miles back. I am home now and thinking that I need to look up some good stretches or else I am gonna be a bit sore in the am. I am making so many firsts , so fast. I guess I am ready for this 4.3 mile run on the 24th . I see a 10k in my future soon. My knee did start to get a bit twitchy on me.

Not too terribly far. I'm on the other side of the Narrows. There's a 5K coming up in Tacoma, May 8th, the Run Like A Girl 5K (Mother's Day weekend). Proceeds go to DV prevention and awareness for Pierce Cty. Here's the website if you are interested:
