Lousy Week
I had a fill of 05 cc's March 29th. Did the regular post fill diet of 2 days liquids and 2 days purees before attempting solids again. Well, I've had extreme reflux, causing me to prop myself up on 3 pillows at night to try and sleep. I've also had a really bad pain in my left side (port side) which alsmost made me pass out at the mall tonight.
I can be really stubborn and haven't been to see the Dr. I did weigh myself at the clinic on Tuesday, 8 days post fill, and I had lost 9 lbs. Definitely too much too soon for a bandster at this stage of the game.
Feeling this way also means I haven't exercised much this week either. My youngest was really sick and ended uo getting dehydrated, so I had to take her to emerg to get her rehydrated. Just been a really lousy week.
Enough of that; on a positive note, yesterday was my birthday. A friend of mine asked me how old I was. I proudly answered that I am 48 and have never felt or looked better in my life!
Thanks everyone for letting me vent and all the support you've given me on this journey. Many times at the gym when I wanted to quit, I would think about all the exercise fanatics ( and I do mean that in a positive way!) would be posting their daily workouts and that would make me push harder.
I am really glad I found this forum. Thanks everyone, I really appreciate you. Have a great weekend.

Happy Birthday Jet! Sorry to hear that the week has made it tough to enjoy the celebration. It sounds like you may have to set that stubborn streak aside and call your doctor.
I agree that this is a great forum. We find strength and motivation in each other. Where ever we are in our journey, we can relate to the joys of overcoming challenges and achieving progress.
Take care of yourself.

when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

Thanks everyone; I have decided to call Dr's office on Monday. A lady I know had similar problems after her fill and went to emerg; they emptied her band. Unfortunately, outside the bariatric clinic at the hospital, most docs at emerg don't know the 1st thing about wls. I have toughed it out this long so another day is manageable.
