as i mentioned in the workout post, today was my 5th day in a row at the gym.  i was pretty run-down mentally and energy-wise and didn't really want to be there, and was seriously considering bagging it after just 15 minutes of weights.  then i saw my surgeon (who is a super nice guy) working out, i hadn't seen him since my 1 year appointment in late October and he came over and said:  "hey, I'm just here to get as in shape as you".  I don't usually go for the ego-pump stuff, but somehow, this made me feel really good.  it also gave me enough of a charge to push through what ended up a pretty decent workout.

have a good weekend!
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Yes!
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in
Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

I'm pretty well-known at my gym (I worked there for a while also) and get asked a ton of questions off and on, so I almost always have to be "on" when I'm there.  Even if it's a bad day, the workout still has to be good or I feel as though I'm disappointing other people.  They don't always say, but they see...

That was pretty cool.  Sometimes it's just that little extra push that keeps you going!
