Thursday Workouts!!!

20 minutes of core then on a whim checked out the studio schedule and went to my VERY FIRST spin class.  i really liked it, and holy crap when the instructor turned on the lights after the class there was a huge pool of sweat under my bike! :)

did a solid 5K brick after the class on the TM in 26:32 with negative splits per mile (mile 1 - 6.7 MPH, 2 - 7.0, 3 - 7.3, and the last tenth and a half @ 7.6 MPH).
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Our bike group did our first Hill ride of the season. I did the straight ride with no extra loops and did okay. About 73 min to complete 15.8 miles.

45 minute HARD spin... follwed by a 5 mile ladder...

Mile 1: 7mph
Mile 2: 7.1mph
Mile 3: 7.2mph
Mile 4: 7.3mph
Mile 5: avergaged 8.1mph
