I will be getting off work in five minutes, then will head to the gym for 20 minutes on the bicycle and 25-30 minutes on the weight machines.

Have a terrific Saturday, all!

40 mile ride in 25-30 mph wind  with 40-50mph gusts, averaged 18.5 mph and am feeling good. A run may be on the plate later depending on how the rest of the day goes with the family duties...

My workout today was a 3 mile race which I completed in 23:07. That was a better pace than my 5K PR from last week. My son cried through an entire half mile race before the start of my race. Sometimes he is fine but other times he has a melt down. Hopefully it gets better as he matures.

Ran same 10.57K route as last Saturday, and shaved off 5:44 my time!  So, pace was 10:41 over 1:10:16 for a total 6:57 miles.  Phew!!!!

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

Slept in today!!!!!  Finally made it to the gym around 11:30.  Wasn't sure what all I felt like doing, but went 3.5 miles in 30 minutes at 7.0 and 0.5 incline.  Still having some energy problems and having some allergy issues, so I didn't swim today.  I need to do some more soon, as my first race of the year is in just 2 weeks!

Hey Bill,

The race is a sprint tri - 1000 yd swim, 20k bike, 5k run.  I'm hoping to finish in less than 1:40 (last year was 1:46), then again, at this point, I think I'll just be happy no matter what!
