Saturday workouts!!!

I ran an inaugural 5K this morning.  This was one of my tune ups for my PR attempt at the end of April.  I did PR though with a time of 24 flat.  It any time after the first mile, I could have run one second faster to break 24 but that is good because I can do it in my April race.

I was 6th overall which was very odd but something that I could get used too.

A woman driving by made sure to tell me that I have a "nice butt".  I know that this is common for women but  a first for me.  Even though she had no more than three teeth, I'll take it.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday.

It really was.  Unfortunately, with my wife on bed rest and my son at his mom's, I had nobody there to share it with.  Still, it was great fun.  Thanks.

It won't work to tell you not to be nervous but I can try.  You will be fine!!!  All the hard work is done and not it's time to reap the rewards.  Can't wait to read the report!  Good luck and keep movin forward.

10.5 miles with a deliberately slow 11:30 min/mile pace.  Needed to get in my last really long run before the  half and I am off to Israel for work tomorrow.. I'll have to suffer running along the beach for a few days.. woe is me :)

I did 5.75 miles with a few killer hills( for me) and I did not stop once! I haven't downloaded it from my Garmin yet so unsure of the pace. I felt good during it and after; so far!
Happy Saturday and first day of Spring!

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in
Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
