I set a Record!

I am so pumped! We have a fitness programe at work. There are mandatory quartely fitness assessments; I had mine this morning. One of the tests is the wall sit. The record was 3:20 and I go in thinking there is no way I can touch that. I am proud to say that I held out for 4:01!!! I could feel the burn in my quads start around the 2 minute mark. Stubborness, determination, and competitiveness kept me there for the other 2.

Who would have thought that an almost 48 year old would beat out all these fit, youngins! LOL!! I am queen of the wall!! LOL!!

AWESOME,

Congrats on crushing the competition.
You know next quarter you are going to have to defend your record.

That is kick ass!!

Now you have to defend your title - they're totally going to be gunning for you next quarter!!

I am already not looking forward to next quarter! LOL!!  My plank time suffered though cause I was still recovering from sitting!

Great sense of accomplishment though!

Thanks for all your support.

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in
Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
