Did one hr jiu jitsu tonight with the guys.  I learned my first take down :)  One of the guys in the class is a brown belt in Judo, so he led the first part of class & we practiced that.  Cool.

I went to the regular class last night & the women's class, but then went out b/c it was my birthday!  Couldn't post . . . I was occupied!

Must go study chemistry now  :(

 Took a brisk 3.5 mile walk with my two chocolate labs., my wife, and our weight loss surgery support group leader.  Been pushing pretty hard lately  with the running and biking so I wanted to do something but nothing too taxing on the knees.

grrr... forced rest day, was planning on a swim last night, but the pool had somewhere around 7,892 kids in it for swim practice...  repeating to self "it's good for the taper, it's good for the taper"....
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

Usually I swim on Wed. but I had a bariatric support group meeting this week so I went to the gym at work and did some stuff with my TRX strap. I did burpees, TRX lunges and TRX rows.
