Thanks Scott for the inspiration!  I did my 5K today instead of Sunday due to scheduling issues.   Here are my results:

Cassie (F-40-45)  28:38 9:13 pace

Not bad considering this is the farthest I've been able to run since December.

Ditto Scott! AND EXCELLENT JOB CASSIE!

I did the St. Patty's Day 5K at Navy Base Bangor today.

Here are my results:

Kathy (Female 40-47) 32.15  10:30 pace

This is a PR for me with 5K or any of my runs actually!!!!
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in
Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

Congrats, Ladies!

I'm not a runner yet, so I walked my virtual 5K on the treadmill this morning.  Here's my results:

Sharika 47:15 at 4.2 mph.

Hopefully soon, I'll be able to start running again!

This winter of running on the treadmill has sucked.  It's almost like I haven't done anything to keep my fitness level and I've been running at least 3 miles a day on the treadmill.  The road is so much harder.

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!

I did mine. I did it in 41 minutes (sorry, I don't have a good timer so you'll have to live with that. LOL) Not horrible as I haven't been running as muh as I would like lately. (should be bak to a regular day/time after this week, whih is good as I have a run in April.
