Saturday Workouts.
I did a midnight 1.1 mile run in a cold rain. I figured it was better than the alternative of getting up at 5:50 to run before work. Nice thing is that now I don't have to run for the next 36 hrs and the streak remains intact.
How did you do today?

just got back from a 5K race this morning (last minute decision to run it)... i PR'd the distance, which is the same course from my first 5K ever on Memorial Day last year. I finished 5K according to my Garmin in 23:13, but the race time was 24:08 because the course was a bit long (at least by my Garmin's calculation it was 3.22 miles).... i will use this as my entry in tomorrows virtual 5K :)
Where are we going?? And why am I in this handbasket??
right now. somewhere. somebody is working harder than you.

Just got back from my race today. I had a 4 mile race - big hill at the beginning (which wasn't bad, I knew it was there) and the last mile was totally uphill (did not know about that one). I finished in 36:58, a 9:58 pace, in the wind and pouring rain....race #1 of 2010 down - yay!! I did much better than I was anticipating - I was kind of nursing my right shin still, but I PR'd (it was my first 4 miler), so a great day for me!!!
