Tuesday Workouts!!!

Ran 2.09 miles outside this morning in 23:12 - wasn't a bad run, would've been better if I got the whole 4 miles in but I got started late and my right shin started to hurt/cramp and has proceeded to get worse throughout the day.  Not the best news as I've got my first race of 2010 on Saturday!

1.7 mile run, rudely interrupted by an urgent work issue, followed by an even more urgent 1.7 mile run to get back to my home office to deal with said urgent work issue, followed by a light shoulder workout.

I hate when work interrupts my gym groove!

Usually happens everyday...I'd rather be at the gym than work, is that bad?!?  :)

I'm gonna copy your workout tomorrow, except I'll replace those 7's with 8's (or 9's), I hope  :)

Tuesday is usually a brick day.  Did my spin class for 45 minutes then hit the TM for 3 miles (8:34, 8:27, and 8:02) for a finishing time of 25:03.  Last 2 run days sucked, so it was nice to have one feel good.

Nice job Linn.  I forgot to tell you about a workout I did a few weeks ago.  I ran about 2 miles to warm up at 6.7 mph.  When I got to 2 miles, I increased the speed a tenth mph every minute until failure.  It was fun because even though it was exhausting there was something to look forward too.  It was a great workout.  Thought you might like it.

Thanks Scott.  Sounds like an interesting workout.  I do like increasing the speeds over time, which as I'm sure you've noticed, I almost always do anyway on shorter runs.  This way it would be more structured.  Cool.  I'll probably give it a try next week when my schedule is more normal.
