Tuesday Workouts!!!

I just got in 4 mile repeats.  The first three were good but the last one I was very happy with as I had to overcome some self doubt as to whether or not I could do it at the pace I wanted.

mile 1 - 7:48
mile 2 - 7:38
mile 3 - 7:42
mile 4 - 7:56 (I wanted to go sub 8).

I had about 3 minutes rest between each and had about a mile warm up and cool down for a total of 5.2

What were you up to today?

Thanks man.  I hope it can translate on April 25 which is where I am shooting for my 5K PR.

Hey there...

20 minutes on the bicycle, then 25-30 minutes on the weight machines. It's nice out today, so I think I'll take a walk later and enjoy the sunshine, too.

35 minutes on eliptical and 1hr 40min on treadmill at 21 deg incline 3.3mph. Burned 2500 cals total.

Thanks Joe.  I am about 30 seconds per mile faster than I was last year at this time.  Running every day is really helping.

Just got back from a three hour walk outdoors.  So glad to have the energy I hadn't had in years!

I did an easy 3 mile run. I had not ran for over a week due to daughter being sick. I plan on 5 miles Thursday. I was going to do a 5 k on Saturday but I will just run with my group instead.
