3 Miles and a killer back and bicep workout

15 minute warm-up on the treadmill followed by strength training.   Bumped the leg press up to 200lbs for the first time.  I will make these legs strong enough to resist injury so I can run to my heart's content!

Cassie:
I have been doing the same thing since my knees really started hurting a month or so ago.  After 2-3 leg (knee stabelizing) workouts a week for about 3 weeks, I can feel the benefits.  Knee pain is pretty much gone.

Four miles today.  Each step was difficult, only did them at 6.8.  I'm afraid I didn't eat enough after my workout yesterday.  I did eat better today.  Hopefully tomorrow will go easier.

OMG! I FEEL SO SHLUMPY TODAY~
Had to do emergency flight out of town at 2 hours notice, then turn around and come back home today. I got dehydrated and leg cramps, so upping and overdosing on water this afternoon and evening. No workout unless you cound trotting through Phoenix and SeaTac airports in high heels??

I feel horrible (mentally) when I miss more than two days in a row of concentrated workout!!!

BACK TO GYM TOMORROW COME HELL OR HIGH WATER!!
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in
Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
