A shortened 2.5 mile run on the TM.  Cramped up my calf muscle and couldn't get it stretched out, so hobbled around the rest of the day.  I did visit the physical therapist at the gym and she worked on the leg for a good half hour.  She said it was knotted up real well.  She was able to get it a little operational.  The chiro at the gym is going to evaluate me this week and get my spine back in order, as well as tape up my left calf muscle, and right knee with SpiderTech.  I'm really curious how this stuff works, and how soon I can get back to my runs.

Monster (for me) workout today.  5 miles on the TM - first 2.5 at 6.9, last 2.5 at 7.0.  Wasn't sure I was going to make it the last mile at that speed, but it worked out just fine.

Got REALLY hot during the run, so I cooled off while chatting with one of my favorite people at the gym.  Actually, I got cold, so I went into the hot tub for a few while deciding if I was going to swim.  Good thing I did, because I met my goal of 23 minutes for the 1000 yd!  I still can't believe I'm getting through the water so well, but I'm not going to argue with the clock.  I'm starting to feel a lot more comfortable in the water.

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
