I just got back from my swim, and I impressed myself today.  I got in and was a little faster than normal, then a very experienced swimmer got in my lane, and so as not to embarrass myself, I pushed a little harder than normal and did 2000 meters in 40 min.  I can't believe it.  This is the first time I have done 2000 without stopping, so I feel like I reached to great milestones today!!!

I am also taking everyone's advice and upping my cals a little, I am doing two protein shakes today, plus meals...hopping I can still work in all of my water, it will take some time, but I am excited!!!

Thanks for all you posted yesterday, with great advice!!!1

Great job... 2000M in 40 Minutes is pretty quick. That's Half Ironman distance and your time was quicker that alot of folks who do that, the only difference is in open water. WAY TO GO!!!!

Woohoo! You go, girl!  I need to be swimming with you!  I did 10.5 mi on a stationary bike yesterday and a mile and a half on the treadmill at a 5% incline at a 3.5mph pace. It feels so good to work out and actually see results.  What protein powders are you doing? I love CLICK. I am going to pick up some max this week, too.  I am always nervous about buying these expensive proteins and not using them. But so far so good. I have never been much of a swimmer, but I love the water.  I can't wait to actual feel comfy going to the beach for the first time in 12 years. Are you going to do the RNR Half in September?

WOW, you are doing great!!!  I need to up my cardio a bit, I am currently swimming 2-3 days and then weight training, with light cardio on the other days, with 1 day rest.  As far as protein, right now I drink the Pure Protein, 170 cals with 35 grams of protein.  Where do you buy the Click and the Max, I can't find it anywhere.

As far as the RNR I am not sure...need to start getting ready I guess, I need to start running...I am so bad at it, put me in the water, I am much better there...LOL

WOOT! Yeah for you!! That is soo wonderful!!
I can't wait for the pool to be fixed here. They 'fixed' the tiles in the pool (or on the ceiling, I forget) and the new tiles fell off!! So they had to close the pool til they can fix the tiles....AGAIN!! lol just makes you shake your head!

So enjoy a couple of laps for me please!! Swimming is my love! I could stay in the water ALL day!
