Thursday workouts

semi rest day for me... got in the pool for the first time this morning in 4 months!  I really need to amp up for my 70.3 in may.  did around 1400 meters total (mixed intervals) in 30 minutes.

Did 30 minutes of lap swimming this morning. You did 1400 meters in 30 minutes? I can't believe how much slower I am than everyone else around here! Oh well...at least I'm moving, right?

absolutely, it's all about your workout and how you are improving and tracking to your goals.  your doing great keep it up!  comparing my swim against many others on this board will prove that i'm much slower than them as well :)

This morning I swam a smooth 2000 Meters in 34:34. We shall see what else the day brings...

I just finished running for an  hour with a few walk breaks up a few hills. I think it was over 5 miles, I forgot to ask my friend with the cool Garmin GPS thing.

Today is my day with the evil ex-marine personal trainer from hell.. er I mean I work out with the trainer today! I shouldnt think of him as evil.. I just know that in about 3 hours Im going to feel like death is a good option lol

My intention for today is to have him show me how to use the equipment in the gym to focus on the areas that I wanna work on most. Arms, Abs, Thighs, Butt... ok.. that's my whole body right?

I only meet with the trainer 3 times a month because of finances and I need to know how to get the same quality work outs on my own.

Crossing my fingers that it goes well.

 3.2 miles on the TM today, plus a killer back, bicep and shoulder routine.  Not sure I can even lift a protein shake to my lips at this point  :)     Sunday is my third 5K.. Hoping to finally officially break 30 minutes.. been running well better than that pace on longer runs so there is no reason I shouldn't if the weather isn't awful!

Was late to spin class, but went anyway, so I guess today was more of a 'take it easy' kind of a day.
