I'm going some Tabata training today as well a****ting the gym the first time this week (been sick) to do the elliptical for 40 minutes and lift weights.

hour and a half on the trainer @ home (first time i've really used the thing)... couldn't find my computer, so don't have any idea how far i went etc...  but got a good sweat in.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

Today I planned on 5-6 miles, but it wasn't meant to be.  Body is tired so I managed 3.  I KNOW why we do easy runs, I just don't like to HAVE to do them because the body BALKS!  It was good to get it done anyway.  We'll see what tomorrow brings.  Not sure if I'm going to hit the bike or go back to the TM.  I guess we'll see how I feel tomorrow.  Monday FOR SURE (hold me to it) I need to be in the water...

Worked our way through the snow piles and got to the gym today.  Ran 6-miles on the treadmill.  Worked out upper body weights for another 40 minutes.  Finished up with a 120-minute spin in the Open Theatre room.  Still adjusting to this new gym, but I think I'm going to like it.  Brand new gym is great.  So clean and bright.

I travelled to IL today to attend a 3 hr seminar in jiu jitsu.  It was a lot of fun!  There were regular periods of practice & sitting/ watching instruction or working with a 3rd partner.  Glad I went.

My weekly 5K, with steep hills. Shaved off 2.03 minutes from three weeks ago on this route. So I'm a happy camper! Ice on left knee. The hill work hits my left knee...so I think I need to be more mindful of my form. Maybe hitting wrong up hill on my foot. IDK...but it's a nuisance!
