Changin' It Up!
Lotsa snow here in Indiana! The Wellness Center I go to every other day is in the local high school, and when they're closed, it's closed! That's where I do my treadmill/bike and weight machine workouts. I swam yesterday, so I thought I'd do something different this morning and popped in one of my old exercise tapes. I haven't done one of those in years! It was fun, I really worked up a sweat! I always liked the "dancy" aerobics tapes, and it certainly was a good workout. I did some upper body work with 10 lb. dumbbells (that's all I have), did lots of reps and then some squats to work my quadriceps. All in all, I think I put together a pretty good workout and it was a nice change.
I will be SO glad to be able to get out in the sun and walk or ride my bike! C'mon spring!!

Yes, it certainly is a lot easier to do now than it used to be! Still a good workout, though. Actually, my heart rate was higher and my breathing heavier doing the video than when I'm on the treadmill or bike. Guess I'll throw a tape in once a week or so just to keep things interesting. I've got a bunch of 'em.
