New to the gym...

Please help how do I get started? I have aboiut 1 hr in the morning for working out and plan to go everyday. I do not have alot of longevity but I have energy to get the work done, just get bored after an hour and am out of time. Please give me some ideas to get me started.

If I only had an hour, I would split the workout into 30 minutes cardio and 30 minutes of weight training and stretching.
