Super Bowl Sunday Workouts!!!
10 miles interval run.... MY LONGEST so far! Woot! Woot!
This is in prep for my half marathon at the end of this month. Those last 2 miles were really hard ... not because of my legs but I have some hip issues and I am still getting pain on the right side. Bursitis. Sucks... I am going to start hittig the machines at the gym a little harder to try to streghten my core which should help.

Linn, as a bandster, I can`t eat and drink at the same time. I try getting some chocolate milk in post longer runs. If I were to eat, I would have to wait 30 minutes before drinking. Makes things a bit complicated. I believe my issues are more to do with my edema in my legs. Compression socks are in order.

First time posting on this forum.
Worked until midnight yesterday, went home wired and didn't fall asleep until 3 am. Got up at 6 am for the gym. Had 2 strawberries and a half banana and headed out:
35 mins treadmill—random@ level 5 w/2 lbs gloves (almost 2 miles) , 3 sets/10 reps crunches w/chest press 7 lbs, 3 sets/10 reps legs up w/chest press 7 lbs, 3 sets/15 reps scissor legs, 3 sets/10 reps tricep curls w/20 lbs, 3 sets/10 reps chest press w/15 lb bar, 3 sets/10 reps lat pullover w/15 lb bar, 3 sets/10 reps Captain’s chair, 35 mins elliptical—cross training w/2 lbs gloves (2.5 miles).
A couple of errands and a 1 1/2 hour nap and now I'm back to work. I think I did okay today.
