Friday Workouts!!!

Just back from the gym and I did 2.2 miles on the TM.  I also did some shoulders, core work and stretching. 

How did you do today?  Leading into the weekend...

I will start my weight training program tonight.

I have on the agenda a running and weight combo. I will do a warm up first then hit the weights followed by a nice 30-40 min cardio. I can't do this until after work tonight but I have been very good about going to the gym :)

Hi Scott! btw, love your avi. You look like a nut.  I mean that in a GOOD way, of course...

Anyway...went to the pool at 6:00 a.m. and did 30 minutes of lap swimming. It's snowing like crazy here right now, so my gym may be closed tomorrow. It's about time for a day of rest anyway!

3 mile run after work...no running tom and my long run on sunday...then week 3 is down!

I wish I'd learn to take it easy on short run days, but it didn't happen today!  I AM trying to increase my base speed, but still...  30 minutes, 3.62 miles.  I sat in the hot tub waiting for a water class to get over then got in and did my 1000 yds.  Getting faster, though - finished in under 25 minutes today.

i had a rough workout today but got through most of it... really bonked on the run so i cut it short (was planning on 10) i think i am closing in on why i bonk every once in a while (not enough carbs/sugars prior to workout and after a big workout the day before)

35 minutes of weights (chest/tri plus sets toward the 100 pushoup challengs, sets of 40, 30, 30, 15)
8 miles on the TM in 1 hour and 8 minutes, rough run, really felt the energy slip away for good around mile 3.5
finished it off with 25 minutes on the stairmaster **** floors)
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.
