Thursdays Workouts
2 minutes at 5.5mph my recovery/warm up pace
1 minute at 7.5mph my run pace
rinse and repeat for 3.5 miles
I mentioned before reusing the couch25k program and I just started it over, but at a higher speed.
It's a nice little challenge.

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!
I did a 1.6 mile recovery run and about 3 back exercises.

I did an outside run with a friend. I did well today! The route is about 4 miles and only mild rolling hills. I have been slow getting back to my pre surgery running level and todays run was my best! I had an iron infusion on Friday and it must have helped. I only stopped very briefly( 20 seconds) to catch my breath twice. I am planning on 5 miles on saturday with my group. I get another iron infusion tomorrow so am hoping no side effects this week; they were mild last week.

mind over matter day today... i really was dragging @ the gym w/ calf cramps on the bike and a brain-eating zombie like stairmaster session....
40 minutes of weights (chest/tri)
65 minute spin on the stationary bike (26.8 miles)
35 minute stairmaster (171 floors)

Where are we going?? And why am I in this handbasket??

Same old workout, but I still enjoy it: intervals on the treadmill for about 45 minutes. It's been so hard waking up to go to the gym in the morning this week; I've been feeling pretty tired even though I go to bed on time, give or take. Weeks like this stink! But I'm so glad that I'm still going. I may, at last, cross my fingers, be addicted to exercise.
