Introducting myself
I had surgery on January 11, 2010. I have been working out with a trainer 3 x a week since April 2009. I can't go back for 4 more weeks and sure miss it. I started back doing cardio at the gym on monday and next week I can start in the running laps in the pool. My goal is to be able to run a 1/2 marathon once more weight is gone.

Hi there! Kudos for you for working out so long prior to surgery, it definitely makes the transition back into exercise easier, imo. Be careful not to try to do anything that you haven't been cleared for too early, if you get injured it will only delay your recovery & exercise goals.
