Hit the gym this morning and did a very easy 1.1 mile and a bit of warm up and cool down for a total of 1.6.  My legs have felt dead for a few days so I needed a rest.  I will probably do the same tomorrow.  Also did about 30 minutes of core work and some obscure knee and hip muscle work.

How did you do today?

Thanks man.  So far so good.  I think that it's around 45 days now and I actually enjoy it.  I was very inconsistant before and it was too easy to skip a run if the moons were not aligned properly.  Now there are two simple questions that I ask - Do I run in the morning or before I go to work and how far.  It has really simplified running for me and made it more enjoyable.  I don't stress about it, I just do it.  Hopefully, I can keep it up.  Thanks again

Just returned from running 5k.  It was a pretty slow run for me.  Still trying to get back into shape after a slow down from surgery.  Also, the wind was blowing and I was pushing a jogging stroller. nuff said!

I am going to zumba in 2 hours. I slept in today, I was going to do the weight machines at the Womens Fitness center before work.
I did an hour of Zumba yesterday and on saturday our running group tried out a 5K route for a benefit for Burma 5 K next month. It was very hilly. It was the most I have ran since before surgery the end of October. I am anxious to do it again and improve.

Did 30 minutes on the elliptical this afternoon, then a 2 mile run, followed by 1 mile power walking tonight. My legs were really sore today and I wasn't going to run, but then I started thinking about Monday Workout posts.  That was motivation to go out in the 15 degree weather in a cold car & head to the gym. As always, feels great when it's done; thanks for the motivation people!
