Gallbladder surgery is done, and I'm home.

That was nice and quick.
Surgery was at 8:00, I was home at 12:00, give or take a couple minutes.

Man there was a lot of junk inside that gallbladder.

Scott, glad to hear that you're doing well.  Take it easy, follow the Doctors order and you'll be back up to speed in no time.

I'm glad your surgery went well. Use this time to relax and heal.

I loved having my gall bladder removed. It sure caused me a lot of hassle and I was glad to see it gone. I also, dropped a lot of weight after wards. My doctors was telling me my body was probably so stressed with all the pain that it's focus was "pain management" and not much else. He told me dropping the weight was my bodies way of thanking me for getting that awful thing out. LOL! I don't know if that was the case, but it was a plus no matter how you looked at it.

Hope you have a quick recovery. I'm sure being in such good shape will make a huge difference in your recovery time. Best wishes and take care of yourself!!

Yeah, I have pictures of it.  There were 6 big stones in it and a bunch of smaller ones in the pan that was holding it.

Awesome thanks,

My goal for tomorrow is a 3 mile walk.

They said 2 weeks of light workouts, then I can try running and cycling again.
