Heart Rate

For Christmas I got a fitness watch with a heart rate monitor.  Before surgery, my heart rate typically was 78 or low 80's.  Today, now keep in mind I've been working out faithfully at least 3 times a week for a year (in January), my resting heart rate was 54!!!!!!!!!!!  I was really pleased with that because that's just more evidence besides outward appearances that I have really done my heart a great deal of good!!!!  I'm just so thrilled I had to share!!

Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays.

Tammy :-)

Congrats!

I know when I went in for my ekg prior to sugery consult recently, they repositioned the leads because they thought they weren't getting a good reading.
My resting heart rate was pretty low.  Almost Bradycardic.

I like when the nurse is taking my pulse and I have to explain to her that I am a runner.  Until then the looks a bit concerned.

Nice present.  My doctor said if he didn't know I'd been exercising he'd be very concerned with my 40-43 resting heartrate :) Keep up the good work.
