elderly exercises

My mom is around 350lbs.  She is 70 with several med probs therefore will prob never be eligiable for wls.  We just got her out of the hospital yesterday.  Heart Cath was neg.  Her heart is wonderful even though she is overweight.  She has probs with her sugar dropping too low.  We have a referral to an endocrinologist.  I have made it my mission now to not listen to anymore excuses and do whatever it takes to get her in better shape.  I have started by cooking meals and freezing to make it easier with food portions but would like to start her on some type of home exercise.  She uses a walker as of now just cause her feet and legs are so big and in poor shape it is hard to get around.  Can anyone suggest some sitting exercises.  I can also get her out of the house to walk down the driveway and back but would love some strength exercises she can do while she is sitting to.
Thanks
Denise

There is a whole series of videos called chair dancing.

I have heard people recommend them, but I don't have any experience with them myself.

Good luck with your Mom.
