Registered for 1st Half Iron
With all the exciting Ironman and Half Iron stories in 2009, I couldn't help but get sucked in. I plunked down the cash today and registered for the inaugural Syracuse 70.3. It's in my backyard, so how could I let the opportunity pass me by!
The big day is Sept. 19, 2010, which will be just 5 days after my 4-year anniversary. It'll be a great way to celebrate survivorship!
For anyone who may be considering this event, there is a promo code from our local Fleet Feet store that'll save you $50 off the registration fee. Here's the link to the code: www.fleetfeetsyracuse.com/PhP/themessageboard/show.php.

Good for you! It's going to be fun having a bunch of us all training for the HIM and IM distances.
