Registered for 1st Half Iron

With all the exciting Ironman and Half Iron stories in 2009, I couldn't help but get sucked in.  I plunked down the cash today and registered for the inaugural Syracuse 70.3.  It's in my backyard, so how could I let the opportunity pass me by!

The big day is Sept. 19, 2010, which will be just 5 days after my 4-year anniversary.  It'll be a great way to celebrate survivorship!

For anyone who may be considering this event, there is a promo code from our local Fleet Feet store that'll save you $50 off the registration fee. Here's the link to the code:  www.fleetfeetsyracuse.com/PhP/themessageboard/show.php.

nice!  best of luck... i took the "easy" route by registering my first half IM in FL in May, something tells me that the Syracuse one will be a tad hillier :)
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Very cool....how exciting.  I hope to do at least one half ironman in 2010 myself.

That's awesome! I'm having thoughts of registering in a local half as well.
