Hello all -
I didn't know if anyone had some great toning exercises that they would like to share, especially for the legs. I've recently hurt my knee so running unfortunately isn't an option, but I would love to hear what has been working for you so I can try it! Thanks!!!!!

Squats, lunges, hamstring curls, leg extensions, calf raises, leg press.  Just make sure that your knee joint does not go beyond 90 degrees.  Once you go, you are losing leverage, while making the exercise less effetive and more dangerous.

I have bad knees (arthritis) so I use a stationary bike regularly but used to swim.  You might also consider using the resistance bands--I used those in knee rehab when I had knee replacement surgery.  I still use them for strength exercises.

Hope the knees heal quickly.
