5K Help

I would like to challenge myself and see if I can complete a 5K - NO walking.
The last time I ran was the 50 yard dash in high school 25+ years ago.
I don't  know that I can do the training, therefore REALLY don't want to purchase the training schedule for a 'Couch to 5K'..
Can anyone help me out with this?
Are there FREE training plans that can help a PRE-beginner??

The couch to 5k plan is free - no purchase required!  And a great plan to get you moving as well.

The C25K is awesome and I highly believe in it.  It just plain works!!   Stick to the schedule and don't give up!    I also think you should use a podcast to help you staying track on your intervals.   This is so much easier than looking at a watch!   There are several for free listed on the www.c25k.com website and on iTunes.

Good luck and get ready to catch the running bug!

Couch to 5K is where a lot of us started. It is a great program to get you going. Warning though, this race stuff is pretty darn addictive. Congratulations and Dare Greatly!
