Monday Workouts!!

Aloha, fellow exercise-lovers! This week I am upping my mileage per my MBP to 22 and started with a 7.14 mile run this morning.

I forgot how hard it was to consistently go uphill against slippery leaves on a very small shoulder and a winding road with blind curves. In short, I made craptastic time, but on the plus side, at least I didn't get side-swiped by a giant truck going around one of those curves!

So I'm gonna call that a WIN! Whaddya do today, everyone?

Well it is supposed to be a rest day on my C25K program, but I did 30min on the treadmill. Back to the program tomorrow. I figure if I just walk on alternating days I can get a little more excercise it will still give a couple of days rest for recovery in the beginning.

Hey it was fun what do you know.  No impending feeling of drowning.  I actually ground out the 1800 yards and never once felt like I couldn't do it.  It wasn't fast by any stretch, but I never got so tired that I had that uhhhh I can't do this feeling.  I guess a couple months off and signing up for the 70.3 next year has given me some new focus.  At least for the swimming.
