Age-graded time in running events

Never knew this existed.

Age-graded (AG) time: Net finish time adjusted to that of an open division participant using a factor for age and gender. Thus, older participants' times are adjusted downward and open division participants' times remain the same. This, in effect, puts all participants on a level playing field, regardless of age.

My times are looking better and better.

Well that explains why the 50-80 group seemed so darn fast at the races, LOL!

I'm guessing that 36 going on 37 is not old enough to take advantage?  Last time I checked, 40 is where it starts.  Soon enough!

hmm somehow that doesn't make me feel any better.

After looking at the results, I have what seems like a Mt. Everest of time to shave off my running.

It is kind of cool in that it give me something to shoot for.

Thanks for sharing that Rob.
