3 mile run in a loop from Troy to Capitol Hill and back up Capitol Highway with the dry leaves crunching under my feet and the smell of wood fires in my nose!

I'm trying to cultivate a running partner.  So I have been doing some extra running.
I started the morning with an hour ride on the stationary bike.
Then after work I ran with a co-worker, it was only 2 miles.  Her longest run was 3 miles earlier this year, then she took a long break.  I'm tyring to get her up to my middle distance so I can have someone to run with from time to tim.
Then this morning I ran another two miles on the treadmill. 

My legs still feel heavy from Saturdays run.

ran 8 miles on the TM in one hour and 9 minutes, then a 35 minute spin on the stationary bike... couldn't walk down stairs afterwards b-cuz of the knee pain.  iced it down and it is feeling better today (but very very sore).  i think i'll be able to make the trail run this weekend and the 1/2 marathon on turkey day if i limit my training to one long day a week and one or two small interval (30 minute) running sessions a week.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.
