Yeah I know, I know.... "I thought you weren't going to work out for three weeks Dan"... Well that was short lived. I just ran an easy 3 miles at 6.5mph and felt great. I am going to attempt to run 20 tomorrow with a small group. Let's see how "Marathon Ready" I am...WHAT DID YOU DO TODAY??????????

Drove to the pre-race expo, picked up my timing chip and goodie bag for my 1/2 marathon tomorrow.

Will spend tonight doing some stretching and hanging the rest of the Halloween decorations.

I get free use of the high school gym machines since I volunteer a few days a month. Today was one of my days so I got in quite a workout. One hour eliptical 3040 steps at 5 resistance, 25 stride. One hour on the treadmill, 4.13 miles. 15 minutes on the bike, 5 miles.

I ran about two miles today.  I did a nice and easy mile out and a hard mile back.  In an effort to run more often, I am scaling back the distance to run more days.  Tomorrow will be day number two of my "streak".

40 + minutes of weights (legs/core), 30 minutes running on the TM, interval work 6.5 MPH to warm-up, (4 min), then alternating 2 minutes @ 8 MPH and 2 minutes @ 6.5 MPH, total distance was around 3.6 miles.  then did a nice long spin on the stationary bike for 65 minutes...  friday was my 1 year surgery anniversary.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.
