Race Goal

So this Saturday is my second 1/2 marathon.
It is on some of the same roads that the first one was on, not exactly the same course, but very similar terrain.

My first race was 2:21:25 for the race I averaged a 10:43 pace.

My first 1/2 was on 10/11/09 and race number 2 is 20 days later.
I have had mostly short runs 3-4 miles since then.  I have had 1 longer run 8 miles.
lots of spinning to keep the legs loose.

So what I am wondering is.... Whats a reasonable goal to set for myself.
Beyond Starting, Finishing, Not Walking.  I'm wondering what is fair to set as a time to shoot for.
10:43 is a pretty good pace for me, for that distance.  My short runs usually go around 9:45 to 10:30, so I was surprised to see that I maintained 10:43 for the whole race.

Anyhow, if any of you experienced distance runners could chime in i'd appreciate it.

Thanks

Scott

Good luck tomorrow Scott!

If I were you I would just shoot to PR!

As for time I bet you can do 10:30ish this time round for a finish of 2:17 - 2:18.
