Sunday workout!

Okay, surprising I couldn't find someone had started Sunday's topic, so here it is.  I decided to run late in the day.  Very late actually. I started out at 6pm and ran 5-miles.  It was stupid since after 15-minutes I was running in the dark.  Needless to say I won't be doing that again.  Spent more time trying to stay on my feet than actually running.

On a side note, for those of you that have found that you lose toenails on your long runs, you may want to reevaluate your shoes.  I was surprised when I went a podiatrist he actually had me get a  smaller shoe.  He figures this will help me to avoid gripper toe.  It should be interesting to see what happens.

Did my last long run before the marathon. I ran 12 miles, well actually 12.5. Had a good run, didn't worry about the time to much just did what felt good. Traffic was bad, seems I had to stop and start a lot.

Just a week to go now.

3.03 miles just feelin' it--mapped it later on MapMyRun.com. Went slightly over my weekly mileage goal: 19.22 instead of 18. This week's goal: 20!

The weather was gorgeous here in southern NJ, so hubby and I went for a 10 mile run.

My husband and I do our weeknight runs in the dark.  We wear headlamps.  I'm sure we look goofy, but I can see what's in front of my feet.
